Guest house – designed to look like an old round stone house that we added on to. The house includes two bedrooms, a bath, living space and kitchen, all next to the swimming pool.
Los Gatos Tuscan Manor
This sprawling three story Tuscan Manor is located in the hills of Los Gatos. All three floors are connected by a beautiful winding staircase, and the ceilings are accented by antique hand-hewn wooden beams. The master bath features a custom-tiled floating tub with a special arched shower.
The manor has a fully finished basement and an attached round garage, designed to mimic an old water cistern. Complete with an olive grove and natural California vegetation, the property includes the main house and a guest house, both of which have roofs made from imported clay tile. The entire home can be powered with the included generator.
This is the guest house again, with the home itself in the background. The tile is easy to see in this picture, capping off this new, old round house. The copper gutters and downspouts are also easily seen in this picture.
Constructed to look like a small Italian town that has been updated and added onto.
Winding stairway leads people from the second floor all the way down to the basement. The floating stairway up to the second story looks like it floats, but is actually supported by steel beams inside the walls. The look mimics that of an old monastery.
Family room – stone was carried into the home. The hand-hewn beams on the ceiling, as well as the mantle, are original very old beams. Floors are hand-hewn to match. Fireplace has a cast stone hearth.
Kitchen with a massive island and lots of cabinetry. Two sinks, two ovens, two dishwashers, and a double-size refrigerator complete the look. Island has two layers, one for eating;one for cooking under ceiling suspended plaster hood.
Self-supporting, floating stairwell.
Tub and shower at the master bathroom. The pedestal in the middle supports whirlpool tub, and behind that is a curved piece of glass. Dual shower heads plus body massaging jets complete the shower. Shower is open on both sides.
Outside of the home during construction. Great view of all the moving parts that make up these amazing homes.
Garage that was built to look like an old cistern remodeled into a garage. The olive orchard was planted to make olive oil from.
Massive kitchen island where people can eat, as well as the stovetop and grill used to make the family meals.
Inside of the garage, with enough space for two cars on each side. Outside, looks like one-quarter of the old cistern was removed.
Outside of this home while it’s being built. Rounded area in the center of this picture is the garage, and above that is the master shower.
