Saratoga Adobe Renovation

This original 1948 adobe home was restored and upgraded with new kitchen, bathrooms, alder windows, and solar electric system. Located in Saratoga, it has a Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, as well as an original wine cave under the vineyard. The home has brick floors and original radiant floor heat, which we supplemented with a high efficiency forced air system. The home has been updated with a built-in speaker system, and wired for internet.

All cabinets are custom alder cabinets, scribed to some very uneven adobe walls; the match is seamless. Fireplaces have been converted to gas from wood burning, and the ceilings have been raised with box beams. Outdoors, the original trees have been maintained, and a large brick patio installed behind the front courtyard walls. A corten steel fire pit graces the raised adobe patio.
