Tom Ferguson

Co-Principal and Board Member

Tom Ferguson brings a wealth of experience to Conrado where he advises part-time as Co-Principal and Board Member.

Tom is a global finance leader, currently the CFO of a biotech startup revolutionizing the food industry. Previously, he was an executive at Rabobank, a global cooperative bank focused on financing Food and Agriculture, where he held leadership roles in financial products and group strategy including lending, cross-border transactions, sustainability and innovation. Most recently, he led the client desk of the Rabo Carbon Bank, a “startup inside of a bank”, developing carbon credit markets across the global food value chain. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Wells Fargo Securities focused on client products in various financial markets such as rates, commodities, FX and treasury.

Tom earned a BS in Computer Information Systems from Loyola University New Orleans, and a JD and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is involved with the boards of several non-profit organizations.

Originally from New Orleans, Tom moved to California in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the people, the food, and the incredible outdoors. Out of the office, you might find him spending time with his wife Colleen and their daughter – hiking, sailing, skiing, or otherwise in motion.
