Nestled high in the hills, this contemporary Los Gatos home was built for entertaining. Designed to highlight artwork, this home features a custom gallery space with plenty of natural light and 30’ ceilings in the great room. Personal touches include dual islands in the kitchen, as well as separate offices and master baths for him and her.
The home’s owners have several luxurious interior spaces to entertain guests including a wine cellar, a theater, and a game room with a bar area in the basement. Outside, they can relax and enjoy the expansive rooftop deck and fire pit, complete with a clear view all the way to San Francisco.
Monte Sereno Historical Renovation
This original 1916 home was restored and remodeled to add a new kitchen, office, and bedroom. Located on a sprawling piece of historic property in Monte Sereno, this home has unique touches such as steel kitchen cabinets made from refinished antique metal windows. The kitchen features custom arched steel windows and a contemporary linear burner fireplace.
Additionally, the kitchen has floor to ceiling custom tiling, with artfully exposed floor joists marking the entryway of the dining room. Melding modern interior design with period-specific elements, this home has open and airy rooms with exposed dark hardwood beams accenting the ceilings. The home owners have plenty of room for outdoor entertaining as well, with a spacious rooftop deck overlooking the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
